New same-day GP appointments in Leicestershire

From 1 April 2026, patients registered with GP practices in Leicestershire can access new same-day GP appointments during evenings, weekends and bank holidays. These appointments are part of improvements to local urgent care services and aim to make it easier for people to get the right help quickly for non-life-threatening conditions.

Appointments are available at local GP practices and health centres across the area and can be booked through your GP practice or NHS 111. These are not walk-in services.
