Getting your Test results

Blood Tests

We ask all patients to contact the Surgery, 1 week after having a blood test, to obtain the results. Please call after 11am, and select the ‘Test results’ option to be directed to a member of staff.

X-ray /Scan/ other Procedure results

These results vary in the length of time it takes to be received. Usually, it takes 7-10 days before they  are reported and sent to us. Please contact us after this time. On some occasions, it can take longer.

If your test results shows that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you. This could be via telephone or text message.

Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you will also be able to view them:

• In your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS app)
• In your practice tool SystmOnline
